Brookmill Conservation Area, South London

The modest, but characterful, terraces of the Brookmill Conservation Area are distinguished by their stucco corniced parapets, angular or curvaceous bays and arched sash windows. The area was developed in the mid-nineteenth century with the arrival of the suburban railway lines, which serve nearby St. John's station.
