Between Blackfriars Bridge and the Millennium Bridge, Bankside is a broad stretch of riverside in front of the Tate Modern. It offers fine views of the city skyline, as well as the shingle beach below. A disappointingly ugly pub, the Founder's Arms is popular with after work drinkers looking to soak up some sunshine with their colleagues.
